125mm Brushed and Lacquered Engineered European Oak Wood Flooring – product code EO2033 - has a total thickness of 18mm with a 5mm Wear Layer. This product comes in random lengths between 300-1200mm and is lightly brushed and finished with a UV lacquer which gives the plank more texture and an incredible aesthetic.

Each plank has a 4V Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank more individual definition. This floor can be sanded down up to 6 times however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years, plus, this product comes with our 25 year guarantee, so you can rest assured your floor will stay stunning for years. The grade of this product is rustic meaning the planks have more knots and imperfections giving the product much more character and warmth. The rustic grade is the most popular grade in the wood flooring industry.

Thanks to the way engineered flooring is constructed the material is incredibly hard wearing. This means that it is perfect for using in kitchens, where exposure to dirt is quite common. However as this is a natural product we would always advise you to mop up any spillages or splashes as quickly as possible. One of the key benefits of engineered flooring however is its ability to withstand fluctuations in temperatures. Because of this, engineered flooring is compatible for use with underfloor heating as well as being installed in rooms such as basements and conservatories.

The EO2033 can be installed using one of three techniques. Option one, ‘floating floor’, is achieved by gluing the tongue and groove parts of the board and allow the floor as a whole to float, usually cushioned with use of an underlay. Option two would be to secret nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. Finally, option three would be to stick the timber directly onto the subfloor with use of flooring adhesive. Please see the full, downloadable installation guide in the installation tab above for more information.
