150mm Golden Lacquered Click Herringbone Engineered Oak Wood Flooring – product code HE3014 - has a total thickness of 14mm with a 3mm hardtop wear layer. This product comes in fixed lengths of 600mm. This Pearl Satin Lacquered Oak is elegantly pre finished with seven coats of natural UV lacquer giving it ultimate protection, durability and easy to maintain.

Using the click method, the HE3014 can be easily and quickly installed with no hassle. However, it can also be installed using other methods too. Option one, ‘floating floor’, is achieved by gluing the tongue and groove parts of the board and allow the floor as a whole to float, usually cushioned with use of an underlay. Option two would be to secret nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. Finally, option three would be to stick the timber directly onto the subfloor with use of flooring adhesive. Please see the full, downloadable installation guide in the installation tab above for more information.

Engineered flooring is perfect for use with underfloor heating as it is a strong conductor of heat. This means it will retain heat for longer in your home, saving you money long-term. Because of this it is also great to use in room such as conservatories and basements where a solid wood floor would perish. Another key quality of the engineered wood floor is its water resistant abilities, making it extremely easy to clean, maintain and is scratch and stain resistant.

Each plank has a 4V Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank more definition individually. This floor can be sanded down up to 4 times however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years. The grade of this product is rustic meaning the planks have more knots and imperfections giving the product much more character and warmth. The rustic grade is the most popular grade in the wood flooring industry.
