150mm White Washed Brushed and Lacquered Engineered European Oak Wood Flooring – product code EO2742 - has a thickness of 20mm with a 6mm solid hardtop wear layer. This product comes in varied lengths of 300-1800mm and is brushed and lacquered, helping to give the product not only a beautiful finish, but also makes it incredibly durable and hardwearing, perfect for high traffic areas.

This floor can be sanded down up to 4 times however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years. Plus, this product comes with our 25 year guarantee so you can rest easy knowing your floor will look amazing for years. Each plank has a 4V Groove bevelled edge which gives stunning individual definition to every plank. This product has a rustic grade, the most popular grade in the industry, meaning the product will have some knots and imperfections that help in creating a sense of warmth and character that can really help to bring life to any room.

The way in which engineered flooring is made makes it not only stunning, but practical too. One of the key benefits of engineered flooring is its ability to withstand fluctuations in temperatures. Because of this, engineered flooring is compatible for use with underfloor heating as well as being installed in rooms such as basements and conservatories.

The EO2742 can be installed using one of three techniques. Option one, ‘floating floor’, is achieved by gluing the tongue and groove parts of the board and allow the floor as a whole to float, usually cushioned with use of an underlay. Option two would be to secret nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. Finally, option three would be to stick the timber directly onto the subfloor with use of flooring adhesive.
