180mm Caribbean Matte Lacquered HDF Engineered European Oak Wood Flooring – product code HD2920 - has a total thickness of 13mm with a 2.5mm solid hardtop wear layer. This product comes in fixed lengths of 2200mm and is finished with a 7 layer matte oil finish to give an extremely hard wearing, durable surface.

Each plank has a 2V Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank more definition individually. This floor can be sanded down up to 3 times however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years. The grade of this product is rustic meaning the planks have more knots and imperfections giving the product much more character and warmth. The rustic grade is the most popular grade in the wood flooring industry.

The HD2920 is installed using a click system. Similar to a jigsaw, click system floors work by fitting the planks together so that they 'click' in to place. The click system makes it easy for any DIY project and makes for a quick process. Please see the full, downloadable installation guide in the installation tab above for more information.

Engineered flooring doesn't just look amazing, it is also extremely practical too. The way in which engineered flooring is made makes it not only stunning, but practical too. This means that it is perfect for using in kitchens, where exposure to dirt is quite common. Engineered flooring is also able to withstand fluctuations in temperatures which means its compatible with underfloor heating, something that is increasingly popular in modern homes. This ability to endure temperature changes also means that this product can be laid in rooms such as conservatories or basements, where other flooring could damage itself.
