190mm American Black Engineered Walnut Wood Flooring is 20mm thick with a 4mm solid hardtop wear layer.

This product comes in fixed lengths of 1860mm. Walnut wood flooring is one of the most luxurious products on the market, it doesn't have the most modest price tag but once laid the true beauty and quality is evidential, completely transforming any room. This walnut product is beautifully pre finished with 7 coats of pearl satin UV lacquer this gives the floor a layer of ultimate protection, durability and makes it easy to maintain.

Unlike a solid wood floor, an engineered wood floor can be used with underfloor heating as it is able to retain heat without enduring any damage. Because it is able to withstand this heat, EW2032 can be used in many more rooms of your house than a solid wood, such as a conservatory of basement. It's versatility also extends to its ease of installation, as it can either be nailed, glued or floated so can work with whatever your needs are. Option one, ‘floating floor’, is achieved by gluing the tongue and groove parts of the board and allow the floor as a whole to float, usually cushioned with use of an underlay. Option two would be to secret nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. Finally, option three would be to stick the timber directly onto the subfloor with use of flooring adhesive. Each plank has a 4v Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank more natural definition individually. This floor can be sanded down up to 5 times however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years. And with our 25 year guarantee you can rest assured that your floor will retain its high quality look. The grade of this product is rustic meaning the planks have more knots and imperfections giving the floor a more natural approach. The rustic grade is the most popular grade in the wood flooring industry, especially when made with a Micro Bevel edge as the EW2032 is.
