190mm Oiled Engineered European Oak Wood Flooring – product code EO2031 - has a total thickness of 20mm with a 4mm solid hardtop wear layer. This product comes in fixed lengths of 1900mm. This product is pre finished with a UV oil which gives the flooring an ultra strong protection from any damage including day to day wear and tear as well as giving a gorgeous look.

Each plank has a 4V Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank individual definition. This floor can be sanded down up to 5 times however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years. As well as that, this product also comes with our 25 guarantee, so you can relax knowing your floor will retain its high quality for years. The grade of this product is prime, which means the product comes with natural imperfections and knots on the surface. Rustic is the most popular finish in the industry as it offers that same incredible look of wood with all the added benefits of an engineered floor.

The EO2031 can be installed using one of three techniques. Option one, ‘floating floor’, is achieved by gluing the tongue and groove parts of the board and allow the floor as a whole to float, usually cushioned with use of an underlay. Option two would be to secret nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. Finally, option three would be to stick the timber directly onto the subfloor with use of flooring adhesive. Please see the full, downloadable installation guide in the installation tab above for more information.

Engineered flooring, unlike some other flooring, is able to endure fluctuations temperatures. Because of this, it is also suitable for use with underfloor heating and can be used in rooms such as conservatories and basements without damaging.
