80mm Prime Pearl Satin Lacquered Herringbone Engineered Oak Wood Flooring – product code HE3020- has a total thickness of 18mm with a 4mm hardtop wear layer. This product comes in fixed lengths of 350mm.

This Pearl Satin Lacquered Oak is gorgeously pre finished with seven coats of natural UV lacquer giving it ultimate protection, durability and ease of maintenance. Each plank has a 4V Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank more unique definition and a beautiful natural look. This floor can be sanded down up to 6 times however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years and with a 25 year guarantee your floor will stay looking stunning for years. The Herringbone floor is hugely on trend right now showing up in more and more properties. This is thanks to its vintage look, which is hugely popular right now as well as creating a sense of dimension and a sense of flow to a floor.

The HE3020 can be installed using either a floating, nailing or glueing method. Option one, ‘floating floor’, is achieved by gluing the tongue and groove parts of the board and allow the floor as a whole to float, usually cushioned with use of an underlay. Option two would be to secret nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. Finally, option three would be to stick the timber directly onto the subfloor with use of flooring adhesive. Please see the full, downloadable installation guide in the installation tab above for more information.

As with any engineered floor the HE3020 is resistant to moisture and splashes, making it great for use in kitchens that are prone to liquid exposure. However as this is a natural product we would always advise you to mop up any spillages or splashes as quickly as possible. It is also suitable for use with underfloor heating as it can withstand fluctuations in temperatures, this also means that this floor can be used in rooms such as conservatories and even basements where solid wood would perish.
