A glowing solid oak flooring product which comes with a natural golden hand scraped (carved) finish designed to give the flooring a more worn characteristic look. The hand scraped finish gives each plank more texture than most other flooring finishes as you can see and feel the veins on the surface.
To offer further protection to the flooring we then applied seven coats of UV pearl satin lacquer which sits on top of the surface protecting the oak from any stains, however as this is a natural product we would always advise you to mop up any spillages or splashes as quickly as possible. The overall board thickness is 18mm (1.8cm) giving you the option to sand and refinish the flooring around seven times, this process is usually carried out once every 15 years, this is why solid wood flooring is often seen as a great investment.
The width of this Brimham Bronzed Oak is 150mm (15cm) wide and length of planks are random between 300mm-1200mm (30-120cm) making the flooring look more authentic in a natural staggered pattern. All our solid hand scraped flooring products come with a micro beveled edge detail, which showcases each planks natural beauty individually, instead of all the planks blending together to make one big piece.
When it comes to installing solid oak wood flooring there are two methods to consider, secret nailing the flooring to the sub floor or using an adhesive and fully sticking the flooring down. The grading of this hand scraped product is rustic which is often know as ABC, with a rustic grade you will often find knots and imperfections designed to add warmth and character to the product. The rustic grade is the most popular wood floor grading. This product comes with a 25 year manufacturers guarantee so you can rest assured if any problems occur this will be resolved.
