Our Nest 12mm Amsterdam Oak 4V Groove Laminate Flooring offers a contemporary rustic oak wood effect, with a textured floor finish. This versatile look would be an excellent addition to any living room, bedroom or kitchen. This floor features a single plank layout, with each one measuring 192mm wide, 1285mm long and 12mm thick. One of the standout features of this range is its 4V groove bevelled edge detailing. This gives the floor added depth and definition by creating a small gap or 'bevel' in between each plank. This is a great effect for large room layouts, as the added definition helps prevent an effect known as blurring. This is where the floor loses detail in large spaces by blurring together. Laminate flooring has grown to become the go to home flooring option for both first time buyers and experienced renovators, thanks to its unique knack of injecting all the natural charm and charisma of natural wood flooring at a fraction of the cost. Laminate flooring is designed using a proven 4-layer construction which is made up of a backing, core, image and wear layer. These all come together to deliver the comfort, dependability and longevity that is expected from laminate flooring. |
Our Laminate Flooring is best installed with the following method:
- Floating Floor
In a floating floor, the boards click together and join to each other, instead of to the subfloor. This is ideal for a click-joining floor such as laminate as it's a lot easier to fit. For this method, we'd advise you to have underlay installed and prepped.
