The Nest 7mm Houston Oak 4V Groove Laminate Flooring range is 7mm thick with each plank measuring 192mm wide and 1285mm long.

This exclusive collection delivers a welcoming rustic brown oak effect which is combined with a textured floor finish. This design helps to bring the distinctive knots and wood streaks of rustic wood flooring, delivered in a more user friendly and cost-effective design.

Adding to this charming look is a characteristic bevelled design, with this example featuring a 4V groove. This provides a bevelled effect on each edge of the plank, which creates a small gap between each one when laid. This gives the floor added depth and definition, preventing a ‘blurring’ effect by making each plank stand out – making this a great option for larger rooms.

The Houston oak collection has been graded by the European standards of laminate flooring, which grades based on quality and suitability. This range has been granted a Class 31 grade which indicates suitability for both home and light commercial environments.

All laminate flooring is made using a 4-layer system, starting with a stabilising layer before moving up to a high-density central layer. This acts as the backbone of the floor as well as housing the click-lock installation system. Above this the style of the floor is brought to life with a photographic wood print delivering the wood floor effect, capped with a durable translucent top layer, which provides the textured floor effect.

Our Laminate Flooring is best installed with the following method:

  • Floating Floor

In a floating floor, the boards click together and join to each other, instead of to the subfloor. This is ideal for a click-joining floor such as laminate as it's a lot easier to fit. For this method, we'd advise you to have underlay installed and prepped.
