The Nest 8mm Amsterdam Oak 4V Groove Laminate Flooring features a single plank design Walnut 4V Groove Laminate Flooring range features a single plank design, with each measuring 1285mm long 192mm wide along with a thickness of 8mm.

This range delivers a charismatic rustic look, with its Amsterdam oak floor finish bringing a calm and comforting feeling, which is finished off with a textured floor finish. This choice of design allows you to inject your interior design with the iconic knots and wood streak found in oak wood at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.

This floor also features a bevelled effect, which creates a small gap between each plank. This flooring comes with a 4v groove which gives the floor added depth with a bevel on each edge of the plank. Bevelled looks are very effective in larger room designs, as the added definition prevents your floor from blurring and losing detail.

Our Amsterdam oak range has been granted a class 32 rating based on the European laminate flooring grading system. This indicates this range to be suitable for home use, including living rooms, bedroom and dining rooms as well as moderate commercial use.

Laminate flooring is made using a 4-layer architecture, beginning with a stabilising layer followed by a high-density board which acts as the backbone of the plank. From here the style of the floor takes shape, with a highly detailed photographic wood print and durable translucent top layer.

Our Laminate Flooring is best installed with the following method:

  • Floating Floor

In a floating floor, the boards click together and join to each other, instead of to the subfloor. This is ideal for a click-joining floor such as laminate as it's a lot easier to fit. For this method, we'd advise you to have underlay installed and prepped.
