The Nest 8mm Calgary Oak 4V Groove Laminate Flooring features a single plank design, with each plank measuring 1285mm long and 192mm wide, along with a thickness of 8mm.

This exclusive collection features an iconic rustic look and feel with a traditional oak wood floor effect, paired with a textured wood finish. This is a great way to inject the imitable charm and character of natural wood flooring into your home without worrying about const and maintenance concerns of the real thing.

Adding to this charm is a bevelled floor finish, with this floor featuring a 4v groove with each edge of the plank being bevelled. A bevelled floor leaves a small gap between each plank, giving the finished floor added depth and definition. This also preserves the detailing of the floor, preventing an effect known as blurring where the floor loses its detail which is common in large rooms.

This collection has been granted a class 31 rating, which indicates suitability for both domestic use and moderate commercial environments such as a shop or office.

Our laminate flooring is made using a 4-layer construction which ensures stability, quality and durability which is why we give this floor a 20-year guarantee. This construction features a single stabilising layer, a high-density central board and photographic wood print which is placed behind a translucent top layer.

Our Laminate Flooring is best installed with the following method:

  • Floating Floor

In a floating floor, the boards click together and join to each other, instead of to the subfloor. This is ideal for a click-joining floor such as laminate as it's a lot easier to fit. For this method, we'd advise you to have underlay installed and prepped.
