This gorgeous example of nest laminate flooring is full of character and charisma due to the natural looking knots, grains and colour variation that flows charmingly throughout. Laminate is perfect if you enjoy the authentic look of real wood, but need something at a cheaper price and easier maintenance. This product mimics real wood's premise so convincingly, that it's almost impossible to tell it apart from the real thing
Laminate is famous for being practical and care-free. It is scratch, stain and water resistant, however we'd think twice about laying it in rooms that see high exposure to these as they can cause damage. Therefore, it's not ideal for the bathroom as it's no good when it comes into contact with too much water. Laminate is also very easy to keep clean, with it only needing a quick sweep and a mop a few times a week to keep it hygienic.
One of laminate's most useful qualities is its ability to cope with the fluctuating temperatures of under-floor heating. This is something that solid wood cannot tolerate and something we are seeing more and more of in modern homes, so it is worth getting on board with this trend as it will help with the selling value of your home when it is time to move on.
Laminate presents impressive durability and will look good as new many years after installation. This makes it perfect for rooms that see high foot traffic such as the living room and kitchen. We trust in the durability of our products so much, that we've included a generous 20-year guarantee!
Our Laminate Flooring is best installed with the following method:
- Floating Floor
In a floating floor, the boards click together and join to each other, instead of to the subfloor. This is ideal for a click-joining floor such as laminate as it's a lot easier to fit. For this method, we'd advise you to have underlay installed and prepped.
