The Nest 8mm Houston Oak 4V Groove Laminate Flooring features a single plank layout, with each plank measuring 192mm wide and 1285mm long. Each plank is also 8mm thick.

This floor features a rustic oak wood effect complete with characteristic wood streaks and knots, all brought together by a textured floor finish. This combination allows you to bring the imitable charm of natural wood flooring to your home, without the increased cost and maintenance worries of its real counterpart.

This flooring features a 4V groove bevel effect, this produces a small gap in between each plank giving the floor added depth. This is a great choice for large rooms, as the added definition of each plank prevents, and effect known as blurring. This is where the details of the wood become lost and ‘blur’ together in large spaces.

The Houston Oak Laminate range has been awarded a class 32 grading based on European laminate retail standards. A class 32 grade indicates that this range is suitable for domestic use as well as in moderate commercial environments.

All laminate flooring in the nest range is made from a 4-layer construction, starting with a stabilising layer before moving onto the high-density board, which forms the backbone of the floor.

Above this are the image layers, these consist of the photographic wood print and a translucent hard-wearing layer which forms the textured floor finish.

Click Fitting System

All our laminate flooring comes with an integrated click fitting system. Each board is designed to fit together seamlessly and securely, removing the need for additional adhesives and materials. The boards lock into place quickly and efficiently, helping your renovation go smoothly.


Laminate flooring does not need to be fixed to a subfloor. Instead, the boards can be floated by fitting them together with the click installation system. Underlay is recommended to encourage comfort, stability, and insulation. Simple!
