The Nest 8mm Reykjavik Oak 4V Groove Laminate Flooring is 1285mm long and 192mm wide along with thickness of 8mm.
This collection features a sleek rustic white oak wood floor effect great for letting natural light flow through a room, which is combined with a textured floor finish. This combination allows you to inject the distinctive knots and wood streaks, of natural wood flooring into your home at a fraction cost of the real thing.
Along with this, the Reykjavik Oak collection features a bevelled floor detail. This creates a small gap between each plank, giving the floor greater depth and definition allowing its details to really stand out. This is a great feature for large room designs, as the enhanced definition prevents an effect known as blurring – where the knots and streaks blur together due to the large space.
Our range has been awarded a class 32 rating, based on the European laminate flooring standards authority, who judge laminate based on its quality and usability. A class 32 rating indicates this flooring would be great for both home and commercial use, specifically mid-level commercial environments such as a shop for example.
Our nest laminate flooring range is made from a reliable 4-layer design, which brings together a 'stabilising’ layer, ‘core’ layer comprising of a high-density board, a photographic wood print layer and finally durable wear layer.
This construction ensures that our flooring delivers only the best in comfort, usability, dependability and longevity.
If you’re looking to install laminate flooring by hand, here are a few things to bear in mind:
Click Fitting System
All our laminate flooring comes with an integrated click fitting system. Each board is designed to fit together seamlessly and securely, removing the need for additional adhesives and materials. The boards lock into place quickly and efficiently, helping your renovation go smoothly.
Laminate flooring does not need to be fixed to a subfloor. Instead, the boards can be floated by fitting them together with the click installation system. Underlay is recommended to encourage comfort, stability, and insulation. Simple!
