51.7m² - Nest Rigid Core Golden Wood Plank Luxury Vinyl Flooring - 5mm Thick (22 packs)

Our Nest Rigid Core Golden Wood Plank Luxury Vinyl Flooring offers next generation endurance with its 0.5mm wear layer. Each tile measures 5mm deep, and is designed to be versatile, practical, and visually stunning. A sturdy limestone core has been attached below the surface for dimensional stability, with an accompanying hypoallergenic cork backing for A+ indoor air quality. Installation is made effortless with Nest’s innovative tap down click system. This removes the need for excessive subfloor preparation, allowing each tile to fit together securely without adhesives. Additionally, no acclimation is required before fitting, so you can get a head start on your renovation.

Above the surface, a specially designed quartz urethane coating is applied for added durability and low maintenance. As a result, this product is 10x more resistant to impact than standard WPC, 100% waterproof, and pet-friendly. For heightened authenticity, embossed textures are etched onto the surface of the tiles, and a distinctive bevel is located at each edge. This improves tactile sensations underfoot, delivering an added dimension of depth and realism.

Perhaps the best benefit of Rigid Nest Vinyl is that it is SPC, meaning it is a stone composite thus making it super strong. It is engineered in a way that combines limestone and stabilisers to create an extremely durable core. Like any vinyl, it is still 100% waterproof due to the thin layer attached to it, but with added stability and dent resistance.

Each tile measures at 1213mm in length and 176mm in width, and remains stable in areas of fluctuating humidity and direct sunlight. As a result, this product can be installed above underfloor heating, making for a flooring solution that’s perfect for any room within your home. Sustainability is a priority with Nest Rigid Core. Every tile is free from Ortho-phthalates, and has been constructed from recyclable materials. As a guarantee of eco-friendliness, this product has been certified for low chemical emissions.

If you’re looking to install luxury vinyl tiles by hand, there are a few things to bear in mind:

Glue Down vs Click

Before you purchase your LVT, check which installation system it uses. There are two main types: ‘Glue Down’ and ‘Click’.

• Glue Down is more traditional, ensuring dimensional stability and strength. Each tile is placed in a desired pattern, and set alongside the neighbouring tiles.

• Click installation is quick and hassle free. Each tile fits together seamlessly and securely, locking into place with a single movement.

Floating

Many fitters prefer floating their tiles due to quick and easy installation. Floating does not require you to fix your flooring to a subfloor, however, only click tiles can be fitted this way.

A thin underlay is fitted underneath the tile to encourage cushioning underfoot. Floating helps cut down on labour, whilst ensuring that your boards are comfortable and strong underfoot.

Fixing

Fixing your flooring to the subfloor will ensure a long lifespan and minimal movement. Both Glue Down and Click tiles can be fitted this way, however, it is more popular with the former.

LVT can be installed above most existing hard surfaces, such as concrete, plywood, tiles, and wood boards. Adhesive is applied directly under the tile, setting rigidly into place.
