Receive antique charm with our Nest Rigid Core Honey Brown Herringbone Luxury Vinyl Flooring (product code – NESTV312). Each tile demonstrates unparalleled durability with a 0.5mm wear layer and quartz polyurethane coating to match. As a result, Nest Rigid Core is 10x more impact resistant than standard WPC, scratch and stain resilient, and pet friendly. In addition, this product proves 100% waterproof in any interior setting, making it a perfect match for any room within your home.

Each tile measures 615mm(L) x 123mm(W), fitting together to create traditional parquet patterns that will inspire and intrigue with every step. For an added dimension of authenticity, Nest Rigid Core tiles are embossed on the surface, and an enhanced bevel is cut into each edge. Both work in harmony to provide a multitude of tactile sensations underfoot, perfectly imitating the natural complexities of real hardwood.

This product is crafted from a unique combination of sturdy limestone and hypoallergenic cork for unrivalled longevity and an A+ indoor air quality rating to match. Alongside this, each 5mm tile proves stable in heat and direct sunlight, and can be installed in bathrooms, conservatories, and over underfloor heating without fail.

NETV312 has been certified for low chemical emissions, and uses only recyclable materials during the manufacturing process. Because of this, each tile is safe for both indoor and outdoor use. In addition to eco-friendly properties, this product is quick and easy to fit, using an intuitive click installation system. Minimal subfloor preparation is required, and every plank fits seamlessly and securely into one another without the need for adhesive.

If you’re looking to install luxury vinyl tiles by hand, there are a few things to bear in mind:

Glue Down vs Click

Before you purchase your LVT, check which installation system it uses. There are two main types: ‘Glue Down’ and ‘Click’.

• Glue Down is more traditional, ensuring dimensional stability and strength. Each tile is placed in a desired pattern, and set alongside the neighbouring tiles.

• Click installation is quick and hassle free. Each tile fits together seamlessly and securely, locking into place with a single movement.

Floating

Many fitters prefer floating their tiles due to quick and easy installation. Floating does not require you to fix your flooring to a subfloor, however, only click tiles can be fitted this way.

A thin underlay is fitted underneath the tile to encourage cushioning underfoot. Floating helps cut down on labour, whilst ensuring that your boards are comfortable and strong underfoot.

Fixing

Fixing your flooring to the subfloor will ensure a long lifespan and minimal movement. Both Glue Down and Click tiles can be fitted this way, however, it is more popular with the former.

LVT can be installed above most existing hard surfaces, such as concrete, plywood, tiles, and wood boards. Adhesive is applied directly under the tile, setting rigidly into place.
