Most of us look to save money when we can. But when it comes to our home décor, the flooring, whether that be solid wood, engineered, LVT or laminate, buying new furniture or even installing a whole new kitchen is never a penniless process. We have to accept that we need to put our hands in our pockets, but there are certainly ways you can dramatically improve the look of your home without having to spend a fortune. Let's take a look at some of the ways you can do to change your home for less than £100.

Jazz up your space for less than £100.

  1. Peel and stick tiles are a cheap and cheerful way to switch up your splashback. You can easily transform your kitchen or bathroom and add a little fun too! Wayfair do some great designs for as little as 14.99 a pack!
  2. Give your kitchen a makeover with upcycled décor. Old street signs show off a touch of personality and can be easily hung up! Re-painting old chairs are also great if you’re redecorating on a budget.
  3. Get creative and make your own prints and artwork to hang up on those empty walls! You can buy frames for as little as £12 on amazon.
  4. Sick and tired of your old lamps? Fairy lights and LEDs are a great way to brighten up your hallway. Why not place them on top of a mirror?
  5. TKmaxx is a great shop for all things random. Buy yourself some mason jars and clear vases and create your own plants! All you need is some soil, seeds and pebbles for decoration.

Shop your Home

If you’re looking to change things around in your room and renovation isn’t what you’re looking at, before you buy any new furniture think about what you already have. It might be that there’s a cupboard from the dining room that would work perfectly in the living room. Even repositioning furniture can end up feeling like a big refreshing change all without spending a penny.

Pick Up a Paintbrush!

The first thing you think about when you redecorate is the walls. It's one of the easiest ways to change your current look!  Be bold and go for bright colours like electric blues and burnt oranges. You can also paint over old furniture to bring it back to life. It's not just for ceilings and walls!

Play around with your furniture

Do you ever get the urge to reinvent your WHOLE house? Moving furniture around can make it seem like you’ve redecorated. If you were thinking of rotating your sofa or moving it to the other side of the room, then do it! Digging bits of furniture from your loft or spare bedroom can have its perks too. Remember that old lamp you were looking for two years ago? Well, it was hiding behind those boxes you’ve never looked in.

Bits and Bobs

It’s all well and good having new floors and freshly painted walls, but an interior is nothing without furnishings. If you're not able to afford brand-new furniture, then consider purchasing new throws, cushions and ornaments, a cheap and easy way of adding charisma and style into your room. Plants are also good value for money and they can brighten up any space! Etsy is a great place for buying little trinkets!

Don’t Hold Back with Art

If you have a room that looks a bit bare and stuck on how to spruce it up, then artwork, decor and paintings are always a good choice. The price of artwork massively depends on how you choose to spend it. Help out your local art business down the road by adding new, fresh art and decor to your home. Or head down to your local charity shop and grab a bargain!
