Welcome to the second part of our flooring world series, last time we looked at the subtle charms of the Karndean flooring collection, a highly popular brand of luxury vinyl tiles. 

This time we will be looking at one of our other premier brands of home flooring - Quick-Step.

Quick-Step is a renowned supplier of luxurious home flooring, first established in Belgium in 1990. In that time, they have earned a reputation of producing high quality home flooring able to suit any home and budget. It is no surprise then that Quick-Step flooring has become a staple of our home flooring roster, becoming prominent pieces in our laminate and vinyl tile flooring ranges.

 Such is popularity of Quick- Step, we decided to give a quick rundown of what we feel is the best of the best.

 

Quick-Step Perspective

Quick-Step Perspective is one of the most home design friendly laminate flooring collections on the market today. Each plank measures 156mm wide and features a detailed photographic wood print which emulates a wide variety of traditional wood floor designs to a tee. All of this without all the added expense and maintenance normally associated with such wooden floor looks.

These designs include oak, beech, pine and walnut wood designs, available in a choice of finishes and varnish effects - making it fantastic for any room within the home.

Quick-Step Perspective Wide

The wide configuration of Quick-Step Perspective Laminate Flooring is a popular choice for homeowners looking to create a spacious and open look and feel in their living room. Each individual plank measures 190mm and is available in a wide range of finishes thanks to the venerable photographic wood print layer present in laminate floor designs. These finishes include light oak, chestnut brown, wenge and a mid-oak finish.

Quick-Step Classic

Quick-Step Classic is an expansive range which aims to emulate an authentic wood floor look found in country homes, while also providing you with wider range of design flexibility. This is done through offering two alternative styles, the simple single strip style and the 3-strip style. 

The latter taking advantage of each unit’s photographic print layer to produce the look of three separate wood planks onto one 190mm plank. As such Quick-Step Classic includes a wide variety of designs, some exclusive to the single and 3 strip designs, allowing you to find the right look for you. 

Standouts finishes here include brown midnight oak, natural Havana oak and bleached white oak (single strip), as well as enhanced beach, merbau and natural oak finishes (3 strip).

Quick-Step Exquisa

Finally let us look at Quick-Step Exquisa. One of the most original laminate collections offered by Quick-Step this range features a tiled floor effect. This is achieved by featuring tiled pattern with varying sizes on each 400mm wide plank to gain the desired effect.

This allows you to add a characteristic and eye catching tiled floor look, all wrapped up in a durable and easy to maintain and completely hidden laminate floor layout.

Thanks to this there is a diverse range of styles available for you to choose from in this collection. This includes ceramic, slate, textile and the exotic Tivoli travertine effect making it a fantastic choice for the living room, kitchen and even the bathroom.

Honourable mention - Quick-Step Livyn Vinyl

To finish off, let’s look at a hidden gem within the Quick-Step collection. This range blends the charm and charisma that comes with natural wood flooring, with an efficient and easy to maintain vinyl tile construction.
