Love the natural look of real wood but worried about the upkeep? Introducing the Hydro-Oak range. Serving you authentic oak with a stone-based layer underneath. 100% waterproof flooring, durable and fit for any room of the home.
The Waterproof Shell Oak is perfect for kitchen or bathroom flooring without having to compromise on style.
Unlike wood effect floors such as laminates or vinyl, this range has a layer of real oak rather than just imitation wood. That means each plank is unique so you can get lost in the unique natural knots and swirling grains of the Shell Oak. Its warm hues will complement any interior space and make your home feel oh-so-cosy. The pearly finish of the Shell Oak is smooth with a lacquer that protects the floor whilst giving it a lovely shine.
Because of the durable backing, you’ll be able to install this with underfloor heating where the temperature will be changing. It also has a 1mm underlay included meaning it’s super comfy to walk on and saves you time and money when it comes to fitting.
Choose the Shell Oak for practical meets stylish flooring that will look great in any room of your home. Does this sound like your dream floor? Order your free sample today!
Our Luxury Vinyl Tiles can be installed in two different ways, so it depends on the type of vinyl tile you have (SPC Vinyl or Glue-down Vinyl).
- 1. Floating Floor
- 2. Gluing
In a floating floor, the tiles are joined to each other, instead of to the subfloor. All of our SPC luxury vinyl tiles use this method due to their handy click-fit system. For this method, we'd advise you to have underlay installed and prepped. Many of our luxury vinyl tiles have underlay already included so you can skip this step if that's the case.
With this method, adhesive is applied to the top of the subfloor with a trowel and then the individual planks are laid on top. You only need to use this method for luxury vinyl tiles that aren't part of our SPC click-fit range. When gluing, it's especially important that the subfloor is nice and smooth as the glued-down tiles will follow the contours of what's underneath.
