Our bespoke Nest High Gloss 8mm Traditional Oak Laminate Flooring delivers outstanding wear resistance with an 8mm board and AC4 rating to match. As a result, this flooring promises impeccable wear resistance in areas of high footfall, such as kitchens and hallways. Each single plank measures at 159mm in width, with an accompanying fixed length of 1383mm. This creates an open aesthetic, allowing each board to exhibit the true character of classic oak in photorealistic detail.
For enhanced definition and authenticity, a slight bevel has been cut into the edge of each board. This allows the planks to have individualistic character and physical texture underfoot. To finish the board, a high gloss coating has been applied to the surface, expressing a characteristic sheen that echoes notions of affluence and modern style. Alongside stunning visual results, this lacquer improves the durability of the board, creating an additional barrier against scratches, scuffs, and spillages.
This flooring makes installation effortless with its bespoke ‘click’ fitting system, allowing the boards to be floated. Each laminate plank is designed to fit together seamlessly and securely, removing the need for additional adhesives and fixture to the subfloor. LAM2186 is also suitable for installation above underfloor heating, taking versatility to a whole new level.
As a gesture of our faith in the longevity of this product, a staggering 30-year guarantee comes as standard with every purchase, giving you peace of mind before you’ve even begun fitting.
If you’re looking to install laminate flooring by hand, here are a few things to bear in mind:
Click Fitting System
All our laminate flooring comes with an integrated click fitting system. Each board is designed to fit together seamlessly and securely, removing the need for additional adhesives and materials. The boards lock into place quickly and efficiently, helping your renovation go smoothly.
Laminate flooring does not need to be fixed to a subfloor. Instead, the boards can be floated by fitting them together with the click installation system. Underlay is recommended to encourage comfort, stability, and insulation. Simple!
