It’s been 10 years since Luxury Flooring was born and as they say, time flies when you're having fun!
Whether you started our journey with us back in February 2012, or have joined us along the way, we’re so happy we’ve been able to make your flooring dream come true. With that in mind, let’s take a trip down memory lane and highlight some of the key milestones and achievements Luxury Flooring has made so far...
Back to basics with floors
Luxury Flooring began in Cameron’s mum’s garage in North Yorkshire, alongside his cousin, Declan. They both worked day and night, answering customer calls whilst picking and sending endless free samples in the post. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and little did they know, the flooring game was about to change…
Bye to showrooms, hello to online flooring
Back in 2012, the flooring market was dominated by showrooms and high-street shops. The two cousins saw an opportunity for a new e-commerce business model that would provide a better experience for future customers and deliver what the industry was missing.
Fast forward to 2015. After the success of launching their online business, Declan and Cameron expanded Luxury Flooring with their first warehouse to keep up with busy orders.
Reaching for the stars
The growth of Luxury Flooring hasn’t just been noticed by the customers, but by mainstream media, film and television.
We’ve been featured on some exciting programmes such as DIY SOS, Old House New House and Extraordinary Extensions. But the fame doesn’t stop there. Our founders have picked up some inspiring awards along their entrepreneurial journey. These include Forbes’ ‘30 Under 30 Europe’ in eCommerce and Best Online Luxury Flooring Store in 2021. We had the pleasure of fitting floors in celebrity homes and influencers too! How chic does this look?
Luxury Flooring today
Over the past decade, we have sold over 1.7 million packs of flooring which is equivalent to 3million square meters. That’s enough flooring to cover the whole of Hong Kong 3 times! And after a decade of success, here is a message from our founders.

What the future holds
We’re only just getting started and we promise to keep bringing you Luxury Flooring at affordable prices. We have some brand-new products launching very soon so keep your eyes peeled!
